A Call for Writers

EDITED: Jeff and Annie, I’ve added your email to the Write Anything users. You should be able to write and save your drafts on the Write Anything blog (when it’s time for Say it on Saturday, I’ll up your permission so you’ll have the option to publish). Thanks for signing up! Anyone else?

We’d like to implement the Say it On Saturday (SIOS) feature here on Write Anything once again. Only to do so means we need your help. In order to post on this blog, you’ll need to sign up for an account at wordpress.com. Once you’ve signed up for an account, and if you would like to post on Write Anything the last Saturday of the month (which is when the Say it On Saturday program takes place), then please send the email address you used to sign up for your wordpress.com account to me (Karen) at [writestuffwriters at yahoo dot com]. I will then add you the user’s list and when it’s time for Say it On Saturday, you’ll be able to sign into your wordpress.com account and you’ll have the ability to publish your article in the allotted time period.

This also applies to anyone who would like to save a draft in Write Anything for us to use whenever a regular writer can’t post, for whatever reason. If you would like to be a guest writer at Write Anything, then please sign up for a wordpress.com account, send me the email address and I’ll add you as a user on the Write Anything blog. You won’t have the ability to publish your article, but you’ll have the ability to save it to our draft folder and we’ll use it the first chance we get (writers are emailed whenever their articles are published). Please note: If you save an article to our draft folder, you are giving Write Anything permission to publish your work at any time. Write Anything reserves the right to edit your work for spelling and grammar mistakes.

If you already have a wordpress.com account, and if you wish to either be a guest writer, or participate in Say it On Saturday, then please send me your wordpress.com email address and I’ll add you.

The Write Anything blog is a blog FOR writers BY writers – in other words, this is a blog for all of us; I’m just the stage manager and make sure things are running properly backstage. All writers are welcome to join our group, however, we do reserve the right to turn down writers that we feel need a bit more practice perfectly his/her craft. It’s nothing personal, but this is a professional blog about the art of writing and you never know who might be reading our work – our goal is quality, not quantity.
