Include a telepathic parrot in your story..…..”
How Fiction Friday works
Fiction Friday is easy to do.
-
Check this page for this week’s theme or challenge. Prompts are published each month to give you plenty of notice.
-
Spend at least 5 minutes composing something original based on the theme or challenge.
-
But, remember, no editing. This is to inspire creativity not stifle it.
-
On Friday, simply post what you wrote to your own blog.
-
Then come back to Write Anything and leave the link in the comment section below.
If you’re participating in the Write Anything meme, please leave a link to your entry below. (If you’re not participating, please don’t leave a link. People who aren’t playing will be removed). Please don’t forget to leave us a comment in addition to leaving a link!
You might also like to Tweet links from this site as they are posted – and don’t forget to use our hashtag of #fictionfriday

My piece for this week: http://www.benjaminsolah.com/blog/?p=2436
Enjoyed coming back to a prompt, when I don’t have any ideas.
Hey all! So I stumbled upon this and decided it was a good prompt to start writing again. There are definately a few cobwebs to work out and my story is in dire need of a ruthless red pen being taken to it. I hope that you like the idea, however, and look forwards to seeing how everyone else’s imagination ran with this one
My story this week is all true! Except for one little part at the end. Enjoy!
This prompt was a little intimidating, but once I got started, I had a lot of fun. I even found a true story about a telepathic parrot, which I used as a jumping off place. Check out the link:

I’ve been lurking for a couple of weeks and decided to jump into the fray and writing. I enjoyed this prompt…and am ready to go back through and edit it.
This is my first go at this writing exercise. Enjoy!

It’s great to see a few new faces this week. As for my story, well, it had my ten year old daughter laughing hysterically if that tells you anything. I hope you get a kick out of it too.

It would have been totally wrong for me not to write something this week – and what a bloody ordeal it was getting it down on paper.
It was my partner who first suggested such a thing as a telepathic… so here is my take on it. The first of what I’m guessing will be a three or four part mini serial.
