Creative Carnival – November 15th NaNoWriMo Edition

November 15, 2008

Welcome to the November 15th, National Novel Writing Month Creative Carnival edition!

What is this? It’s a chance to read some great NaNoWriMo excerpts around the blog-o-sphere. It’s also a chance to get feedback on your NaNoWriMo excerpt, if the author chooses to accept feedback. If you need to know more, or would like to submit an article for the next Creative Carnival, read this.

So, without further ado, grab a cup of hot cider and sit a spell – but not too long. You still have some writing to do. 🙂

vanessa presents Snippet posted at scribbles of a completely sane woman, saying, “

~willow~ presents NaNo: The Rescue posted at The Ranting Willow (v 2.0), saying, “… Raseta and company are catching up with Jackie’s kidnappers… be warned, my mind went down a slightly twisted path…!!”

Tina presents NaNoWriMo Weekend # 2 posted at Refine Me, saying, “The one where my main character goes speed dating”

Jodi Cleghorn presents Rickshaw posted at Jodi Cleghorn, saying, “This tracks a little further into the story – after meeting with the Mayor Shet Harmon contemplates where she goes from there.”

Karen presents Racing Heart, Second Excerpt posted at Write From Karen, saying, “The beginning of chapter one. I was hoping to establish some tension between my main character and her family. This was to also establish her motives for her actions throughout the rest of the book. Who knows if I carried it off or not.”

This concludes the November 15th NaNoWriMo 2008 edition of the Creative Carnival. THANK YOU for submitting your links! If you would like to see your work showcased in the November 22nd edition, please submit your links here. (Please, one link per blog. If you submit more than one link per blog, I will only use the first link submitted.)

If you submitted your link and don’t see it here, that probably means I received it after the deadline.

Thanks for visiting the carnival participants and don’t forget to check back November 22nd for the next Creative Carnival.
