Fiction Friday

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for July 3rd, 2009:

Where your character is committed to a drastic or extreme change

How Fiction Friday works
Fiction Friday is easy to do.

  • Every Thursday, just check this page for this week’s theme or challenge.
  • Spend at least 5 minutes composing something original based on the theme or challenge.
  • But, remember, no editing. This is to inspire creativity not stifle it.
  • On Friday, simply post what you wrote to your own blog.
  • Then come back to Write Anything and leave the link in the comment section below.

If you’re participating in the Write Anything meme, please leave a link to your entry in the box below. (If you’re not participating, please don’t leave a link. People who aren’t playing will be removed). Please don’t forget to leave us a comment in addition to leaving a link!
You might also like to Tweet links from this site as they are posted.

Changes don’t come much bigger than my characters!

A fun challenge and a chance for me to explore the changes I’ve put in my characters’ recent backstories.

Hi folks – apologies for being tardy this week. Where I am have very slow ( and non existent in places) internet. have had trouble finding somewhere with wireless to hook my computer up.
I will read and comment on all of yours – but it may be later rather than sooner this week.
my story will go up when I can get it saved.. damned thing has crashed a few times already….. try this link..

Welcome, welcome, WELCOME to all the FF newcomers!! It’s refreshing to see so many new faces! Spread the word — let’s read more great writing.

Just a quick reminder please: When you leave your links in the Mr. Linky script, please leave a perma-link instead of a link to your blog. A perma-link is the link directly to your FF post. Many times, you can click on the title of your post to get the perma-link, or there is an actual perma-link at the bottom of your post.

I’m having to go through and change them so our readers won’t have to spend time hunting for them when they visit.

    Thanks so much!

As promised, I choose a different kind of story this time, a bit nostalgic and melancholic . Enjoy!

Just found this site this week so I’m giving it a try. Not sure how extreme the change is, but it was a fun exercise! ENE
